Introduction  

  Shulin ash landfill plant has been built up from February 1994, and has been operated in March 1996 for the purpose of treating , and disposing the ashes created from the incineration plants of New Taipei City Government. The whole construction costs about NT﹩263 million .

This is the first ash treatment landfill plant in Taiwan area. Further, the Solidification Plant has been built up from August 1998, and has been operated on November 15, 2000, since. The project aimed at the target, to meet the requirements of environmental regulation .The whole planning was set up half an year in advance as compare to the deadline given by EPD.Again, this is the first Solidification Pant in Taiwan area.

At present, the Shulin ash landfill plant contains effluent treatment plant and fly ash solidification plant. Every month, the qualified inspection company will be entrusted to sampling and test the data in order to meet the government standard, and the test data is reported to our bureau and announced on the bureau website. In addition, the land reclamation greening and landscaping of our plant has been completed and will be integrated and combined with the Shulin incineration plant, Lujiao River Manmade Wetland, makes the region become both environmental education and ecological functions of environmental protection ecological education park.

Processing Status

●In July 1990, the slag ceased to enter the site and was transported to Bali Landfill and Linkou Humus Soil Site for use as casing material after filtering. After 2003, it was transported to the bottom slag reutilization plant to recycle the resources so far.
●In November 2006, the site was an intermediate treatment for fly ash solidification before transported to Bali landfill site.
●From January 1, 2008, Shulin solidification site restore to treat fly ash from Xindian and Shulin site.
●Proceed “Shulin ash landfill project improvement before sealing” in 2008.
●Proceed “Shulin ash landfill closed rehabilitation project” from 2009 to 2012. (in two phases)
●Procced “Low-carbon green energy adding project” from 2012 to 2013.
●Proceed “Shulin ash landfill prevention and control of drainage system improvement project” from 2015 to 2016.
